Mrs. Alvin Atkins and brother Harold of Sperryville were Thursday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family. Mrs. Frazier accompanied Mrs. Atkins t6 Culpeper where they joined other ladies of the Fellowship Club of Black Oak Regular Baptist Church for dinner at Country Cookin.
Congratulations to Miss Julie Powers daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Powers and a 4-H member who have recently been named a district winner in Achievement Record Judging.

have son
Mr. and Mrs. Steven L. Bailey of Strasburg are the parents of a son, Darison Merrill bom July 4 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. Darison weighed four pounds and five ounces.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey of Washington.
Maternal great grandmother is Mrs. Charlotte Rodgers of Strasburg.
