The Ami8sville Ruritan Club auction is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Ruritan’s Stuart Field on U.S. 211. (Note new time.) Concession stand and viewing begin at 4:30 p.m. Donation of items may be brought to the field throughout the day up to 6 p.m.
One Ruritan member said “Support your community — bring your donation and bid on a treasure!” We understand there are many good items this year, including a motorcycle in good running condition, antique furniture and woodstoves. There is one “mystery” item — an old trunk with broken lock and unknown contents.
