Gerald Hawkins, known internationally for his work in astronomy, will be presenting a discussion on “The Mysteries of the Crop Circles in England” at the Blackwater Homestead in Boston, Virginia on Friday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m.
For the past 10 years, hundreds of circles have appeared overnight in the fields of wheat, barley and oats in Southern England. The stems are braided, flattened and compressed in precise circles up to a thousand feet in diameter. They cluster around ancient Stonehenge, and near the famous White Horse.
