Between shows and during the early afternoon before show time when the aerial rigging was just invitingly hanging there, Denise started to work out. The other girls on the show gave encouraging advice, but it was up to Denise to make it work. Little by little she did.
Today she is a tall, very slim showgal with shoulder development the envy of Miss Universe and she is an aerial trapeze performer with a lot of sweat equity in her graceful act.
You’ll see her several times during the performances of Roberts Bros. Circus when the family show appears, mixed in with the trained animals, the clowns, the jugglers, the acrobats and the magician and the comedian, all presented with the special music which makes a trip to the circus lot a memorable occasion for “children of all ages.”
