Homecoming at RCHS
Saturday, Oct. 20 is Homecoming at Rappahannock County High School. The festivities will begin at 2 p.m. with the Homecoming soccer game against Wakefield School. At halftime, the Homecoming Queen will be crowned. The day's activities will conclude with a semiformal Homecoming Dance at the school from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. All RCHS alumni are invited and encouraged to attend.
Kramer's show continues
Cabinetmaker Peter Kramer's 20th anniversary show, "Recent Thoughts — New Furniture Design," will continue through Sunday, Oct. 21 at his shop and showroom in the Washington Arts Building at Gay and Jett Streets in Washington. Both the showroom and workshop are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show includes about 50 pieces of furniture designed recently by Mr. Kramer, including a number of pieces created specifically for the anniversary show.
