To the editor:
On behalf of the School Board, students, and faculty of the Rappahannock County Public Schools I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Virginia Department of Transportation, Rappahannock Area Headquarters and to the Transportation Maintenance Superintendent, Ronald Marshall, for their herculean efforts to restore the county’s damaged roads following the flood on the morning of Oct. 13.
Due to the hard work and commitment by the Department of Transportation, the Rappahannock County Public Schools were able to be in session on Monday morning and buses were able to serve all but one family.
This type of effort and the ongoing cooperation within the County contributes toward making Rappahannock County one of the best places to reside. Again,
