Post Halloween dance

The fabulous CRAZY 8’s will play at a post Halloween dance at the Fire Hall in Washington on Saturday, Nov. 3 starting at 8 p.m. Wear costumes, bring your dancing shoes and dance the night away with some of the best dancing music around. Gate is $10 and all funds raised will go to benefit the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community and the Gay Street Theater. RAAC invites you to join the fun for a no alcohol, no tobacco evening.

Haunted house in Flint Hill

On Halloween, Wednesday, Oct. 31, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. the Flint Hill Fire Hall will be transformed into a haunted house for the trick-or-treaters. Come take a tour with our ghosts and goblins. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. The haunted house is sponsored by members of the Flint Hill Fire and Rescue Company.

Flint Hill harvest dinner

The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will be serving a harvest dinner of turkey, ham, dressing and all the trimmings on Saturday, Oct. 20 beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under.

Riding lessons available

Turkey walk Nov. 4

The Rappahannock Chapter of the American Heart Association will conduct its annual “Turkey Walk” at the intersections of Route 600 and Route 612 in Old Hollow on Sunday, Nov. 4. Murder mystery benefit

On Oct. 27, Windmore Foundation will sponsor “Suspense at Salubria,” a haunting evening of intrigue and mystery. Guests will participate in solving a murder mystery enacted during cocktails and dinner in Culpeper’s oldest brick house.
