production has brought people from all walks of life and all ages.
“The youngest would be elementary school children,” she said, adding the oldest is Waldron O’Connor, a familiar face and veteran of Rappahannook Players’ productions.
With a cast of 16 to 18 people, several other faces will also be familiar to the audience but many new faces will be on stage for the first time in this one and one half hour two act production.
“Many things in the show are homegrown,” Mrs. Hostetter said of the script, giving away little inside information on the performance but promising a local soap opera, entitled “ ‘Rotten Apple’ and several other acts I just don’t want to give away,” she said with laughter surrounding her secrecy.
“Everyone will be doing a bit of everything, this time,” Mrs. Hostetter said of the production, emphasizing the effort the community has put into the show. “We even have volunteer props and sets,” she said, adding the effects only make the show more interesting.
And while the set is a filled with attic remnants of yesteryear, matching the music and feeling on stage, the audience should also take their part.
