Tony Chaves has spent countless hours of the past 15 years pursuing a favorite hobby, collecting postcards of scenes from his native Northern Virginia, including the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Piedmont. Mr. Chaves’ collection includes a variety of cards from Rappahannock. He encouraged anyone interested in die hobby to contact him (he’s a member of the Capital Beltway Postcard Club) at 703-560-0237. He owns about 3,000 historical cards featuring area landmarks. ;
