A Flint Hill man was being held without bail Monday after allegedly stabbing his son repeatedly with a knife, according to court records.
Milton Russell Jordan, 61, of Flint Hill, allegedly stabbed his grown son, Gary Darnell Jordan, with a butcher knife during a dispute at their Flint Hill home.
According to Gary Jordan’s sworn statement in the arrest warrant, “We were sitting down to eat around 5 p.m. (Aug. 18) when my father came in fussing about my girlfriend being there. Russell grabbed my girlfriend’s plate and threw it to the floor. We started fighting and Russell grabbed a butcher knife and stabbed me in the leg. My girlfriend went to call the police.”
According to Rappahannock Sheriff John H. Woodward, the elder Mr. Jordan was also stabbed in the fight, leaving a portion of one ear cut off.
Russell Jordan was charged with maliciously stabbing, cutting, causing bodily harm to Gary Darnell Jordan, with the intent to maim, disfigure disable or kill, according to the warrant.
