Wilmer Smith

Wilmer M. Smith, 74, of Parsonsburg, Md., died Saturday, Aug. 10 in the Salisbury Nursing Home.

Bom in Amissville, he was the son of the late John Smith and Lucy Ann Hitt.

He is survived by his wife, Helen V. Smith; three stepchildren, James F. Jones Jr. of Boothwyn, Pa., William H. Jones of Parsonsburg and Deborah Chandler of Salisbury; a brother, Frank Smith; six sisters, Robert Woodward and Virginia Fletcher, both of Warrenton; Nettie Hitt of Culpeper, Ellen Welch of Flint Hill, Lena Levitov of Silver Spring and Beulah Grigsby of Amissville; seven stepgrandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
