Textbooks for high school
students will be available for purchase at the high school from August 30 through September 7. Because of newly adopted science textbooks, there will be no second-hand science texts. Returning students are encouraged to bring second-hand textbooks which they want to sell. The office will have just a few second-hand textbooks for sale in most all subjects areas. The usual fees will again be applicable this year with the cost of lunch being thirty-five cents.
Judge Rayner V. Snead of Washington, Va. was among the 140 judges from 40 states who attended an intensive four-week course in post-graduate legal education conducted by the National College of State Trial Judges in Reno, Nev. Judge Snead served in Circuit Courts of Rappahannock, Fauquier and Loudoun. The course is an activity of the Section of Judicial Administration of the American Bar Association.
