He was predeceased by a brother, Hugh Warren Smith and a sister, Myrtle S. Smith.
He retired in 1981 from Asphlund Tree Expert Co. after 30 years service and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 126.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 13 in the Springhill Memory Gardens. The Rev. J. Harvey Dixon officiated.
