“Tax breaks, tax benefits — which we now don’t give but which, I think, in (competitive) economic times, we’re going to have to revalue whether we should or not," Wilder said.
Wilder said he favors capital-gains tax cuts and other unspecified incentives to attract manufacturing industries to the state.
Wilder said he would not support relaxing the taxing powers in the state’s Dillon Rule, which requires the General Assembly to grant any authority the local governments have.
