The Lindgrens will operate a general stock farm with a commercial herd of Angus cattle, a purebred herd, sheep and hogs. Mr. David Sanford Evans is to be in charge of all farm operations which include a stable of racing and show horses. Both Mrs. Lindgren and Mr. Evans are accomplished equestrians and will ride with the Rappahannock Hunt.

Groundbreaking ceremonies
were held Wednesday for Wakefield Country Day School at Trinity Manor north of Flint Hill. William and Pamela Lynn of Boston, Va., are owners of the school. Starting w ith grades one through four, the initial enrollment of the school will be 50 students with yearly expansions of one grade each year planned. The school is being built by Skyline Homes Corporation, Front Royal. The school is a “joined complex of Alpine Chalets” that are manufactured in the Skyline Plant at Front Royal. The anticipated date of completion is April 1, 1973.
The Rev. William M. Hargett, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington announced this week that he has accepted a call to St. Paul’s, Centerville, Md. His resignation is effective January 28. Mr. Hargett was installed as rector of Trinity Church on January 19, 19G9. Both Mr. Hargett and his wife Anne have been active in civic affairs, youth groups, the Mental Health Association and Clinic, and other county interests.
