Mr. Nick Peneranda and Mr. Freddie Butler returned home on Sunday after several days trip to Florida where they visited Mr. Butler’s son Paul who is in the U.S. Army there.
Mrs. Dorothy Miller has recuperated nicely and now able to return to her position as manager of Fashion Bug in Culpeper on a part-time basis.
Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Peyton entertained members of their family for a pre-Christmas dinner on Sunday.

The Viewtown Grocery Store will hold a community Christmas tree decorating party at 7 p.m. On Friday, Dec. 18. Everyone is asked to bring a decoration. Santa will be in attendance, there will be Christmas caroling and free hot chocolate and cookies.
Mrs. Shirley Dodson was a guest of her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Compton in Rixeyville. Mrs. Compton has just returned home from Culpeper Memorial Hospital where she was a patient.
Mr. and Mrs. Iva Jacobs has returned home after being patients in Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton and are doing nicely.
Johnnie Hackley has returned home after being a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Chris Parrish had the misfortune to fall off his roof and break his leg recently. We wish him a speedy recovery. ;**
