TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING PROGRAM SUPERVISOR #00402 • Culpeper. Individual to manage the engineering, construction, and operational functions of the Traffic Engineering Section. Directs traffic engineering investigations and studies and the development of traffic signal, sign, and pavement marking plans; reviews construction plans; and coordinates District highway engineering programs. Provides technical assistance and supervision; prepares budgets; attends public meetings; makes presentations; and responds to public inquiries. Requires knowledge of highway safety laws and regulations. Must be able to manage multiple assignments; analyze data and interpret regulations; develop budgets; and supervise others. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Degree in civil engineering or related field with professional traffic engineering experience or a combination of training, education, and/or experience. Salary: $33,568-151,253. Excellent benefit*.
