Recently Mr. Arthur Brown and Mr. Paul Poling met at the Town afid Country Restaurant to celebrate having joined the Navy together 50 years ago. They both lived in Northern Virginia at the time and enlisted in Washington, D.C. Mr. Brown did not know that Mr. Poling lived here when he moved to Amissville and opened Amissville Glass Company several years ago.
