a quick time out after Brentsville scored two points and seemed poised to make another long run. Whatever he said in the team huddle, it worked. The Panthers returned to the court and shut out their opponents, to win the final game 15-8.
After the game Paratore said, “This is my third yeah and this is the best team we have had. I mean this is the best 12 people we have had, not just the best six.”
“I believe if we do our best and have a good time then we will win. I think this team is just learning its potential,” he said.
“If we play our best and still get beat 15-0 I can’t get upset. But in the first game tonight, we weren’t playing our best, and I was a little upset,” he added.
Paratore’s J. V. squad had an easier time Monday night, winning 15-7 and 15-8, as the Brentsville squad never could muster a serious threat.
The volleyball team takes to the court again on Thursday at Stonewall Jackson and will be in Manassas Park on Saturday for the postponed Tip-Off Tournament, which Paratore’s squad won last year. Joining Rappahannock in the tourney will be
