FDA-regulated products by May, 1994 and FSIS-regulated producted by July, 1994.
Exemptions From
Nutrition Labeling
While almost all packaged foods will have nutrition labels, some foods are exempt from the nutrition labeling rules. These include: Foods of no nutritional significance, such as cofree, tea and most spices.
