State legislators are being asked to establish a precedent by approving public money to finance infrastructure improvements which benefit one project — albeit a huge one. What will they say when other developers come to Richmond asking for state assistance for their own projects? What will they say to King’s Dominion, which paid its own way (including a new interstate interchange) when it built the popular amusement park in Hanover County?
