Registration is now open for the 16th annual Bryan Adrian Summer Basketball Camp. Boys and girls ages 5 through 18 are eligible. There are several camp locations including Lynchburg; Institute, W.Va and Greensboro, N.C.

The Byran Adrian Basketball Camp is among the best teaching camps in the country. For a brochures call 704-372-3236.

4-H Intermediate Congress

“My Three Spaces-My Space-My family-My Community Space” is the theme for the 1994 Intermediate 4-H Congress. The Congress is open to youth ages 12 and 13 who have participated in a county, district, or state activity in the last year. Participants must be currently enrolled 4-H’ers for the Feb. 4-6 event.

Learning groups will include making a Dream Catcher, electricity, enjoying your parents, the ropes course, Beef Ambassador, consumerama, and learning about 4-H opportunities for the future. Entertainment will include movies, games, dances and a pizza party.

The cost is $50 and applications are available in the Extension Office. Interested individuals may come by or call 675-3619.

Free Yoga Classes

A loose and loyal group of yoga practitioners meet from 6-7 p.m. every Monday evening at the Middle Street Gallery. Anyone is welcome to come, beginners and advanced. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or blanket on which to lay. Call 987-9139 evenings after 8:30 p.m. for further information.
