i ■■ To the Editor:

The proposed Disney theme park in Prince William County is the biggest and best project to ever want to locate in Virginia. It would produce 3,000 jobs, over one billion dollars in taxes for the state and county (over 30 years), and promote high quality growth in a stagnating economy.

It will provide high quality educational entertainment for old and young alike.

It would bring more tourists to Virginia and tourism is very beneficial to the state economy.

It would bring prestige to Virginia and attract more high quality businesses. We should be looking to the future and encourage these high quality developments in the state, not discourage them. Frankly, if the Disney project is stopped by the “Flat Earth Society” it will discourage other desirable developments.

We can lose Disney if we don’t let our public officials know they’re wanted. So, lets welcome Disney to Virginia. Let your state Delegate and Senator know you want this
