A new series of Bradley Method childbirth classes will begin on Jan. 30. Classes emphasize excellent nutrition (the foundation of a healthy pregnancy); normal, abdominal breathing, techniques on being a great coach and relaxation and turning into your body to help you work with the labor process. Practical Nursing Testing
George Washington Carver-Piedmont Technical Education Cerfter will begin testing on Feb. 1 for those who are interested in applying to the Practical Nursing Program that begins in September, 1994. This is an 18 month course that prepares a graduate to take the National Council Lecensure Examination for becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.)
