Col. Oliver North, ijowever, he says he is better qualified to serve in the Senate and that he also lacks North’s “negatives.” ! “I think the colonel’s support has fjeaked,” he said. “He has a lot of support. People say, ‘I signed on with North because he raised money for me.’ A lot are committed but not viery enthusiastic. Below that it is a really competitive race.” • While admiting he lacks Col.
