Dinner at Flint Hill

A turkey dinner and all the trimmings will be served at the Flint Hill fire hall from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. Prices are $7 for adults, $4.50 for ages seven to 12 and children under six are free. All proceeds will benefit the Flint Hill Volunteer, Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Winter Book Sale

Its time for the Rappahannock County Library “Winter Book Sale.” To be held at the Rappahannock County Library over President’s Day Weekend.

There will be thousands of new, old, and used books have been donated to the library. If you have any books you wish to donate for the sale, please call or stop by the library.

Kater Concert

Hospice of the Rapidan Inc. will host a benefit concert featuring pianist/composer, Peter Kater at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29 at The Theatre in Washington. Tickets are $10 in advance can can be purchased at Mountainside Market and liie Earth Gallery. For more information call 987-3350.

Chili Dinner Planned

An all-you-can-eat chili dinner will be held at Chester Gap fire hall from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. For more information call Kim Gilkey-Breeden at 635-5601.

RAAC Coffee House

The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) will present “Coffee and Confusion,” a midwinter coffee house event from 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Town Hall in Washington. This date is a change from last week’s announcement.

Everyone is invited to enjoy informal acoustic music and headings by talented folks from around the community. Non-alcoholic beverages and pastries will be available for purchase. Bring your own seat cushions for comfort. .

No admission will be charged, but donations to RAAC are encouraged. Anyone who would like to volunteer to help or perform should call Dan Lewis, 987-9158.
