LFCC Class at High School
Typing I (Course . OFT111) is the next class in the Office Systems Technology Program (Administrative Assistant Specialization) offered by Lord Fairfax Community College at the Rappahannock County High School. The three credit class will be held from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, beginning May 31. The cost of the class is $135.90 (45.30 per credit) plus an additional charge for textbooks.

Spaghetti Dinner
Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will be having a spaghetti dinner at the fire hall from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 28. The menu consist of spaghetti with choice of two sauces (meat and vegetarian), salad, bread, dessert, tea, lemonade and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Support Group Picnic
THe Blue Ridge Head Injury Support Group will meet and have a picnic from 1-4 p.m. on May 14 at the home of Chris and Pat Samon in Flint Hill. Head injuried persons, family, friends and anyone interested in learning more about or helping with the group are invited to attend. Health Screening Programs
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening Program to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center: 11:30 a.m. on May 18, Blood Pressure check by Marion Sharp, RN; 11:30 a.m. on May 20, Anne Stossmeister/Fan Care Program and 11:30 a.m. on May 23, Ann Bunts, RN/Program on Falls and recovery from the floor.
