Settles Suit

In Rappahannock County Circuit Court last week, the Rappahannock County Public Schools reached a compromise settlement with Erika Virginia Sinnott, a former student, and her parents, and paid $15,000 to settle the case.
According to court records, of the $15,000, $7,021.76 will be paid out for medical and hospital expenses, $2,978.24 for professional services rendered by Ann M. Hayes, Esq., and $5,000 will be paid to Hugo H. and Catherine J. Sinnott, her parents.
The case was brought about when Miss Sinnott claimed injury due to a school bus accident which occurred on November 9, 1990. Miss Sinnott is now 15 years old and attends Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal.
