Ofien times we concentrate on the clinical services that CMH provides, and overlook other ways CMH contributes to the quality of life in Culpeper.
Just this past year several new projects were established as community services. The Diabetes Education Program is designed to give new diabetics and their families a good start. The Prime Time Club is a network of activities and services for citizens over fifty years old. The Explorers group introduces young people to health careers. The child care program in Madison is also growing well.
Other services we offer arc prenatal classes, monthly health forums, health screens, hospital tours for school children and community groups, meeting rooms for non-partisan groups, Lifcsteps weight management program, babysitter class, and Santa breakfast. For many years CMH has sponsored a Little League baseball team. Hospital staff participate in many community functions such as school career days, health fairs, CulpeperFcst.
