Mrs. Anna Mae Jenkins of Chiefland, Fla. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family and after having lunch in Culpeper visited Mrs. Catherine Brown and son Charlie. 9
Sunday the Fraziers, Mrs. Atkins and Mrs. Eunice Meade were in Fredericksburg where they dined in observance of Mother’s Day honoring Mrs. Meade and Mrs. Frazier.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth De Hart were guests on Thursday of Mrs. Dehart’s father, Dr. Charlie Wilson and Mrs. Wilson at Thistle Hill Bed and Breakfast.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wilet of Port Orange, Fla. are on an extended visit here with the Wilsons.
The Wilsons had the privilege of serving quite a number of guests for Mothers Day.
Mrs. Hazel Hawkins and Mrs. Ann Deal accompanied by Mrs. Jo Ann Petty of Front Royal spent Wednesday with Mrs. Jean Crossman in Elkton. Amanda Sims spent Mother’s Day weekend with her grandmother, Mrs. Hawkins.
Bruce Corbin, a former native underwent eye surgery last week and has been recuperating at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Corbin in Rapidan.
