will host their last regular season home games Friday against Stonewall Jackson.

The soccer team had a 5 to 0 romp over Madison last Tuesday. Adam Kerr scored the only goal in the first half. During the second half Jonathan Maeyer, Adam Kerr, Willie Shanks and Eddie Sauce each scored a goal.

On Saturday afternoon in the rain in a home game against Randolph Macon Academy the team suffered a 1 to 3 loss. Johnathan Maeyer scored the lone Panther goal.

In an invitational track and field meet with Luray, RMA, and Page County at Page County High School Monday night Holley Gangel won the 1600 and 3200-meter runs and came in third in the high jump. Also for the girls Sarah Gentry had a second in the shot put, while Jessica Jacobs had a third and Dawn Havstad came in fifth. In the discus Dawn was first and Sarah fifth. Amber Early came in third in the 300 meter hurdles and fifth in the 100 meter hurdles, and Nancie Gallegos was fifth in the 800 meter run.

For the boys the relay team of Mike Grimsley, Jason Grimsley, Mark Jenkins and Jason waters came in first in the 4 by 400 relay. Mike also won the 3200-meter run and Jason Waters was second. Jason got another second in the high jump, while Jason1 Settle came in third. Mark Jenkins came in first in the 1600-meter run. Willie Shanks came in fourth in the 100-meter sprint and fourth in the triple jump. Tucker Rogers was third in the 800-meter run. Jason Carter was fourth in the 200-meter sprint.

Last Thursday the team faced Clarke County and Brentsville at Brentsville. Jason Waters was first in the 3200-meter run and second in the high jump. Mark Jenkins was second in the 1600-meter run, and Mike Grimsley got a second in the 3200. Jason Carter came in third in the 100 and 200-meter sprints, and Mark Jenkins came in third in the 3200-meter run. Andy Clanagen was fourth in the 100-meter dash.

For the girls Holley Gangel won the 1600 and 3200-meter runs and came in third in the high jump. Tomeka Carey was second in the long jump and third in the 100-meter dash. Dawn Havstad was fourth in the shot put and discus, and Nancie Gallegos was fourth in the 800-meter run.
