Amissville Carnival Planned

Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will sponsor their annual carnival June 22-25. Discounts Wednesday; parade Thursday evening; crowning of queen and court Friday and cash prize drawings Saturday evening.

R.A.W.L. Benefit Brunch

The Rappahannock Animal League is pleased to announce a benefit brunch to be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 12 at the Bleu Rock Inn. There will be food, raffles, door prizes and a special guest speaker Dr. Michael W. Fox. Dr. Fox holds a veterinary degree and a doctorate in psychology from London University. He has written over 30 books on animal behavior and animal care. He is a current Vice President of the Humane Society of the United States. Tickets are $30 per person and are available now. Library Program, Picnic

On June 3, the usual Friday Night at the Library program will be a “Bring it yourself’ picnic supper at the Rappahannock County Park at 6 p.m. The Tae Kwon Do Black Belt School of Warrenton will give a demonstration of their work at 7 p.m. Children are welcome.
