On Friday, May 27 Rappahannock County High School Science Students won first place in the 1994 Kings Dominion Science Field Day.
Kings Dominion Science & Math Day is a cooperative program carried out by Paramount’s Kings Dominion. Dr. Ray Carpenter of V.M.I.’s physics department, the Science Museum of Virginia and the . Virginia Instructors of Physics. ! 7,500 students attended 1994 Math & Science Day this year, participating in a number of curriculumrelated activites and also having a lot of fun. Activities include students 1 using the roller coasters as a giants > physics laboratory in which to measure velocities and accelerations, a hands-on program provided by the Science Museum, and the Science Field Day.
