Gene Bailey
Gene Austin Bailey, 58, of Front -Royal, died Thursday, May 26 at VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 31 at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. John Pendleton and the Rev. Allen Baltimore.
Burial was at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Bailey was bom Oct. 8,1935, in Flint Hill, son of the late Caesar and Eva Mae Williams Bailey.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Connie Robinson Starks Bailey of East Orange, N.J.; three daughters, Thelma Lee Bailey and Tracy Althea Bailey, both of East Orange, and Kelly Boyce of Eatontown, N.J.; four brothers, Walter Bailey of Front Royal, Harry Bailey of Plainsfield, N.J., Robert Bailey of Newark, N.J., and Shirley Bailey of East Orange; a sister, Mabel Pendleton of Flint Hill and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frederick Bailey, Vincent Bailey, Thornton Jackson, Phillip Webster, Robert Richards and Randolph DeNeal.
