On June 14, the Virginia Democratic Party will hold a primary to nominate a candidate for the United States Senate.
The future of Virginia is at stake.
This primary will decide whether we will move forward in a positive, constructive manner to elect a U.S. Senator we can be proud of, or whether we will continue reading, and being defined by, headlines about the past.
I support State Senator Virgil Goode over Chuck Robb. Here’e why: 1 >
1. Virgil Goode is in the mainstream of Virginia’s political spectrum in deed as well as in word.
2. Virgil Goode, a resident of Rocky Mount in rural Franklin County, understands the needs of rural areas and will give us a voice in Washington.
