She was bom in Rappahannock County on Jan. 9,1902, the daughter of the late George T. and Georgianna Smith Scott.
She was the wife of the late Silas H. Martin Sr.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Amissville Baptist Church and was active in the church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amissville Fire Department.
She is survived by two sons, Silas Martin Jr. of Amissville and Douglas Martin of Mechanicsville; two daughters, Doris Stover of Warrenton and Anna Mae Rhodes of Annandale; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sovilla Bailey of Culpeper and Lucy Barnes of Rockville, Md.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 26 at Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Everett officiating.
Interment was in the Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Nelson Burner, Stanley Settle, Charlie Mills, Charlie Priest, Jerry Curtis and Gilbert Lawrence.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Baptist Church or the Amissville Fire Department, Amissville, Va. 22002.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
