Fletcher III, Robert Haskell, Elizabeth Haskell, Virginia’s former Secretary of Natural Resources, and me. We invite the people of Rappahannock and the surrounding area to join us at that time.

Concerts For
Children Too

Rappahannock offers an educational opportunity to children that may never help them make a living but will certainly make their lives richer. I refer to the Smithsonian Chamber Music Concerts which have been held at The Theatre at Washington for the past two seasons and will be offered again next fall.
Not only are the artists world class musicians but the instruments they play are from the Smithsonian Collection—either period or excellent copies of period instruments. If one then includes the small theatre—which has exceptionally fine acoustics—one really hears Handel, Bach, Beethoven and Schubert as the composers intended.
