Plan by saying, “The present Flint Hill center is a commercial use in existence for the last eight years. The Comprehensive Plan visualizes commercial centers in villages. Therefore it is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan.”
He said Blueridge Technologies, a software firm, rents 4,500 feet of the existing 9,000 square feet and came to him about expanding. He said that he would not build the addition without a 10-year lease with Blueridge Technologies, and in fact, expected Blueridge Technologies to purchase the building during the 10 years.

The addition will be two-story, with a walk out basement in the back, he said. It will be connected to the current building with a loading dock.
John Ralph said he lives behind the current Flint Hill Square. “I’m in favor of it being zoned commercial; it should have been done years ago,” he said. “I have found he keeps the place spotlessly clean. It’s very orderly.” However he asked if Dr. Krebser would plant trees for screening like he had on the other section. Dr. Krebser said he planned to do that. \
Phil Irwin as a member of the audience and several members of the commission expressed concern about what might go into the space if Dr. Krebser no longer owns it. When he first got the development approved Dr. Krebser wanted to put in an ABC store. There was opposition to that. The Planners indicated they still do not want an ABC store there. They also suggested Dr. Krebser proffer other uses such as gas stations that would not be allowed.
