This was the first annual reunion of retired D.C. firefighters and did they have a great time seeing each other and reminiscing of the good times they had in past. This was one time the men outalked the women. The weather was beautiful and there were approximately 200 in attendance. Everyone is looking forward to next years get-to-gether.
Rev. and Mrs. L. Starke Jones returned home on Friday after a trip to Switzerland and Austria.
Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz attended Parent’s Day at Frostburg State University at Frostburg, Md. on Saturday with their son, Philip who is a senior this year.
