a program by Libbey Oliver who is manager of floral services for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. She will speak on “Fall and Holiday Decorations in the Colonial Style.”
The program will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19 and lunch will follow Ms. Oliver’s presentation. The cost of the program and lunch is $15 and a cash bar will be available. Celine Siira won the blue ribbon for her rhythmic arrangement depicting the theme “Off to the Races.” Members exhibited a wide vareity of horticulture specimens and blue ribbons were woni by Dot Estes, Betty Wood, Helen (Mrs. Todd) Smith, Sandra Anderson, Helen Fairfax and Phyllis Keim.
Marcia Doelman announced that fall highway pickup will be at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 with a rain date of Oct. 21.
