Cemetery Day
Notice to our kindred; i.e., Bolens, Pullens, Dwyers, Gaunts, Baileys, Baldwins, Clatterbucks, Kindalls and others...we are planning an excursion to the Bolen Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 8. We will be in need of several 4x4 vehicles.
We will meet at the parking area at the end of Route 614 at 10 a.m. Remember tfcose of our family who are elderly or too disabled to walk that distance. Expecting you to be there for them! Contact Wayne Baldwin should you have any questions.
Breakfast and Bingo
Castleton Volunteer Fire Department will be having breakfast from 7:30 a.m.-12 noon on Sunday, Oct. 2. Breakfast will consist of bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, etc. Prices are $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12.
Bingo will be played at 1 p.m. following the breakfast on Oct. 2. There will be a $700 jackpot if 75 or more people play. If less than 75 play the jackpot will be $500. Regular and special games will be played with a total of 28 games. “Come out and support youh local fire department,” said an organizer. For more information call 937-3076 or 9376051.
