Berry Family Reunion
The annual family reunion of the late James Adrian and Bertha Clark Berry will be held beginning at 12 noon on Sunday, Oct. 2 at the' Rappahannock Park near Washington. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. “Family members and friends are invited,” said a spokesperson.
Homemakers To Host Sale
If you attend the Sperryville Apple Harvest Festival this weekend, be sure to stop by the Extension Homemakers booth on Main Street to purchase some apple baked goods and Apple Cookbooks. They will be selling both from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the E.H. Scholarship Fund which provides a scholarship each spring to a graduating senior at RCHS.
Parenting Book Study To Begin
A parenting book study will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12. This discussion is open to any interested person. “Parenting By Grace” is the book which will be used. This study has suggestions for parenting children of all ages. It focuses on ways to affirm, positively discipline and guide children as they grow. It will include learning exercises and ideas for enriching the parent-child relationship. The study will also include sharing of parenting concerns and experiences.
The study will be held at Washington Baptist Church on the corner of Gay and Porter Streets in Washington. Babysitting will be available and children are also welcome in the class. There is no charge for the study, but if participants would like to pruchase their own book it is available for $6. Books will be available on Oct. 12 or can be ordered in advance. The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter NSDAR, will meet at 1:30 * p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the Rappahannock County Library. The program “Women in the American Revolution,” will be narrated by chapter member Mrs. Dan K. Shackleford, with Mrs. Thomas M. Johnston as chairman.
Little Fork Church Auction

On Saturday, Oct. 1 it 10 a.m. Little Fork Church will hold an auction at Culpeper Business Storage, 614 Old Brandy Road, Culpeper. All proceeds will go toward the Parish Hall Building Fund.
The church Youth Group and Parishioners will be selling food and beverages throughout the day.
Amissville4-H Club To Meet
1 The Amissville Community 4-H Club will hold its first meeting for the 1994-95 year at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 at Bethel Baptist Church.
The Amissville Community Club is for youth ages 9-18 who are interested in 4-H projects and community service. New members are welcome. i 1 1

Play Planned, Participants Sought
The plan is that the “The Three Kings” will be performed on Dec. 17-18 in Washington. All who performed in this play last year, please call Ellen Manson at 675-1349 to confirm your participation this year. Our first rehearsal is at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Ki Theatre.
