“Real patriots don’t sell arms to Iran,” lie, deceive Congress, and destroy evidence, “North, MacFarlane, and other sold 2,004 TOW missiles and 18 Hawk missiles to a terrorist nation, at a time when the U.S. was pressuring countries like like South Korea, Italy, and Israel not to sell arms to Iran. The arms sale was a clear violation of federal law as well as a profitable scam,” so says Vivian Kallen, who is a professor of political science.
Former Attorney General Marshall Coleman (a Republican) said Oliver North was “a convicted felon” at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce meeting recently. Republican President Ronald Reagan said he did not ask North to lie to Congress. Maybe that’s why so many military officers are organizing against Oliver North, a man they apparently consider to be of little moral character.
Professor Kallen further said, “In March, 1988, Oliver North was indicted by a grand jury for conspiring to defraud the United States. In
