Thomas De Shazo of Fairfax called on the Ray Frazier family on Saturday. Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Speriyville was their Sunday guest. Mrs. Atkins had spent the weekend attending the Ladies Retreat at Rapidan Baptist Camp in Rochelle, Madison County. Mrs. John Dodson of Scotts Mill Road, Mrs. Florine Estes of Sperryville and Mrs. May A. Atkins of Flint Hill also attended the retreat.

Mrs. Janet Peregory was honoroed with a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory in Front Royal on Sunday afternoon in observance of her birthday. Others enjoying the occasion were Joe Peregory, son, Joseph and daughter, Jennifer, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mills, Shirley, Rebecca and Mary, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bragg, Kelly, Carla, Mark and Matthew, Joel Peregory and Mrs. Lucille Peregory.
