The Windmore Foundation for the Arts held a successful festival in Griffinsburg on Saturday, this being ; their second Field of Dreams. Mild . temperatures and sunny weather , drew people from Culpeper and the 1 surrounding counties. Besides crafts there were flags from Richmond, pottery and handmade jewelery -from Luray. Food was included in ’ the event too, being provided by our I own Thistle Hill Bed and Breakfast, jalso Pancho Villa, Lakeside Cater• ere, Salem Ruritan Club and as far i away as the Summerfield Gourmet * Country Store. Also on the newly decorated stage there was music as six bands were in attendance and -played.

Mrs- George Whorton and her daughter, Sarah were guests last ; Friday of Mrs. Thomas Frazier in Jeffersonston.

Approximately 45 were in attendance for the luncheon meeting at iMt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Thursday as the church entertained all the speakers who were here speaking at different churches for the World Mission Conference. , Outlaws of Culpeper held a car show at the Salem Vounteer Fire Department grounds on Saturday and it was very successful said a
