Each team will have just eight minutes to set up and perform in the competition.
On Saturday, Team 1 worked on designing and building their vehicle. It is not yet finished, but is well on its way. Several items were brought in from the donation list, including an old bicycle, plywood, 2x4 pieces of wood, and fabric. Team 1 spent much of their time taking apart the bicycle so they could use parts of it for their vehicle. It was a real team effort, as much of the bike was rusted, and it took a lot of strength and tools to hold, tug, and coerce pieces to come apart.
