Practical Nursing Aptitude Testing

George Washington Carver-Piedmont Technical Education renter will begin testing on feb. 7 for those who are interested in applving to the Practical Nursing Program that begins in September, 1995. Phis is an 18 month course that prepares a graduate to take the National Council' Licensure Examination for becoming a l icensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.).

Ham and Turkey Dinner

A ham and turkey dinner will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Flint Hill lire department. I he menu consists of old ham and turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, cole slaw, hot rolls, and assorted homemade desserts. Prices are S8 tor adults, S5 tor children and children under three each tree. Proceeds benefit the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department. For more information call 675-3389.
