I visited St. Luke’s Lutheran School in Culpeper, which is a relative bargain—$2,700, payable in monthly installments—but I thought the teaching 1 saw at Rappahannock Elementary was comparable, and it’s right here for free.

That left Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly ($4,750 a year for first grade) and Spring Mountain School in Washington ($3,740 a year) as the local private schools. I’ll return to Spring Mountain in my next article.
