Last tall, the coaches made a list of 50 possible students who they felt would qualify and benefit from the Odyssey of the Mind program. Letters were sent out to parents to ascertain which children would be interested in the program. The interested students were then tested by three judges who did not know any of the children. Over half of the two teams selected have been identified as gifted and talented.
