Fred Ausberry, Sr.
Fred Dixon Ausberry, Sr., 49, of Flint Mill died Monday.Jan. 23 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 with the Rev. Decker I apscott officiating.
Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Flint Mill.
Mr. Ausberry was born in Front Royal, the son of the late Robert Turner and Lucy Jordan Ausberry.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Elizabeth Ausberry of Flint Mill; three sons, Fred Dixdn Ausberry, Jr. of Flint Mill, Gerald Tee Ausberry and Matthew Ray Ausberry, both at home; two brothers, James Ausberry and John Ausberry , both of Manassas; two sisters, Elizabeth Emma Ausberry ^ of Washington, D.C. and Lucy Ausberry of Manassas.
Active pallbearers are John Proper, Nils Aylor, Maywood Turner, Russell Aylor, Pete Lucas, Robert Renzie, Ralph Letts and Bob Hester.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday one hour before funeral service. ,
